There might have been a time when working with clients we can’t meet personally would have been difficult. These days, though, we have teleconferencing, video-sharing apps, and plain phone calls to communicate and get things done. Having a client that’s a little farther away, or one that’s in a different time zone, just isn’t as big a challenge as it used to be.
Certainly, we would still rather meet all the people we work with face-to-face, and we try hard to get that to happen. But, it isn’t a deal-breaker for us if we can’t have lunch with a business owner or executive on a regular basis.
