The Oswego Chamber of Commerce Leads Group II announced today that they have raised $2135.00 cash for the Kendall County Food Pantry. This donation will allow the Kendall County Food Pantry to purchase over $12,000.00 of food from the Northern Illinois Food Bank throughout the Holiday Season.
According to the Kendall County Food Pantry website, a cash donation of $1.00 allows the organization to purchase $6.00 of food. Leads Group 2 Members Andy Clements of Weblinx and Kim Peterson of TLC Carpet Floors & More both of Oswego challenged Leads II to raise $1000.00 and they would match the donation. The group exceeded the $1000.00 goal!
